Descrizione

Roy. 4to., First Edition, on laid paper, with a coloured frontispiece, numerous coloured and monochrome plates, monochrome illustrations in the text and a very large folding coloured map on japon, small signature on front free endpaper; original pale blue cloth, backstrip lettered in darker blue, a very good, clean copy. Lord Methuen's painstaking and well-illustrated inventory is now increasingly elusive in this condition. Enser, p.37.
