First edition, 58, [2]pp., with the terminal errata leaf, presentation copy from the author, disbound. Vivian, John Henry (1785-1855), industrialist and politician, born on 9 August 1785 in Truro, went on to become a mining and copper-smelting entrepreneur. He enjoyed travelling and in 1815 met the exiled Napoleon Bonaparte on Elba, this pamphlet is his account of that meeting. Rare; Not in the British Library.
