Edizione: a very pleasing copy in a well preserved and handsome binding. wordsworth holds an illustrious spot in the canon of romantic poets, joined by men such as keats and coleridge, and his poems in this volume speak his genius for themselves. this edition of the works comprises all the poet’s best and finest poems and is complete including “the prelude” his last work, which was published after his death.<br> wordsworth had a passionate love for all things of nature: “knolls, rocks, and lakes, were his personal acquaintances, as it were, or rather his personal friends; and not a few trees, in different parts of the country, owe to his intercession their continued existence”. the beautiful ramage binding is a fitting encasement for his lovely, honest verse.
