This is a near fine hardcover copy. Very clean inside and out . Edited by Martynka Wawrzyniak. Foreword by John Waters. Essay by Guy Trebay. Karlheinz Weinberger (1921- 2006) was a Swiss photographer who lived and worked in Zurich. From the late 1950's he began photographing rebellious teenagers, in Switzerland they were referred to as 'Halbstark' or 'half strong'. They were denim clad rebels with chains, large belts and buckles and other paraphernalia attached to their clothing. Weinberger began his artistic career by taking pictures for a gay underground club, 'Der Kreis', which published the well known magazine. Illustrated throughout in black & white and color. 10" high X 8" wide, 176 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
