The present third edition of the European Jewish Year Book appears now in English language. It contains informations about Jewish organisations of which aims and tendencies however, and therewith the widest parties of the world have the opportunity to inform themselves about the signification and impqrtance of the different kinds of Jewish activities and the corresponding organisations in Europe. The third edition comprehends the territories of Austria, Belgium, France, North-Africa, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Scandinavian States, Saar, Switzerland, Luxemburg and others. Besides the international organisations as well as the political and economical relations of Israel to other countries are treated in a more detailed manner than before in new added sections. An ampler space was moreover reserved for cultural and economical informations. This part is not only destined to deepen the knowledge about Israel and its belongings, but also to tie relations, to consolid connections and to encourage a good understanding between the free world's nations and Jewish Life as well abroad, as in the State of Israel.
