Wilson Pugsley MacDonald (May 5, 1880 - April 8, 1967) was a popular Canadian poet and entertainer who "was known mainly in his own time for his considerable platform abilities" as a reader [in dialect] of his poetry. By reading fees, and by selling his books at these readings, he was able to make a living from poetry alone.The First edition, published under the title "Paul Marchand" in 1933, The Second edition revised to include "Quintrains of Callender"[on the Dionne Quintuplets] in1935, Third edition,1940, Fourth edition under the title" Armand Dussault' in 1946, This copy is the 7th printing in 1959.
