Description

This is a fine softcover copy with no wear at all. Completely clean. Text in Russian and English. Essay by Polina Lobachevskaya, curator of the exhibition. This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the new AZ Museum in Moscow in 2014. The exhibition presented the works by Alexander Zverev that were given to the museum by George Costakis' daughter Aliki Costakis. George Costakis, well known as a collector of Russian constructivist works, also collected works by the Russian artists of his time. This activity included collecting hundreds of paintings and drawings by Anatoly Zverev (1931- 1986) a member of the non-conformist movement and a founder of Russian Expressionism in the 1960s. Illustrated throughout in color and black & white. Illustrations on almost every page. 8" high X 6" wide, unpaginated but about 200 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
