EDITION LIMITED TO 1,000 COPIES. The first complete reissue since 1778 of a work of enormous importance to the scholar of eighteenth century England. In it Defoe writes of the social habits of the people, and the products, industry, trade and commerce of the various parts of the country, as well as describing the various places of historic or other importance.
