Descripción

New English Paperback. Pbo. 4to. (30 x 25 cm). In English. 105, [4] p., color ills. Reunited after centuries. Works of art restored to Turkey by the Sadberk Hanim Museum. Translated into English by Robert Bragner. Sadberk Hanim Museum, whose collections of over seventeen thousand objects ranging from the Neolithic Age to the Ottoman period represent many Anatolian cultures, including Byzantine, Timurid, Seljuk and Ottoman, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. This occasion is marked by an exhibition of the 339 objects purchased from abroad over 25 years since Turkey's first private museum was established. This is the first time that these objects have been shown side by side, and the exhibition is an opportunity for the museum to share with visitors its delight and pride in its pioneering role.
