No dust jacket. Hardcover. Text is in Latin. Illustrated frontispiece. Former owner's nameplate is glued to front pastedown. Very old penned marginalia on back endpaper and rear of last page of index. Very aged and worn leather boards and spine with numerous surface scratches and abrasions. Front board is completely detached from spine, and inner edge of back board is very cracked and loose. Decorative spine is very worn and rubbed, and spine head is torn. Leading corners of boards are very worn, with noticeable fabric loss. Faded page block with minor staining. Marbled pastedowns and endpapers. Pages are very faded with age and binding is a little loose at two or three points. Text remains clear. AF Used
