Edizione parigina del 1826 di questa raccolta di opere del Padre Louis Bourdaloue (1632-1704). Bourdaloue, gesuita francese, era noto per l'eloquenza profusa nei sermoni che recitava, si dice con gli occhi chiusi con magistrale teatralità. Egli era predicatore alla corte di Luigi XIV. Il suo nome sembra derivi da uno strumento in uso nel 1600, un orinale connesso con la lunga durata delle sue prediche che le devote incontinenti usavano sotto le gonne per non perdere neppure un minuto delle sue prediche. L'opera era composta da sedici volumi purtroppo il tomo 13 e 15 risultano mancanti ("Exhortations" tomo secondo, "Pensees" tomo primo).
