Modern binding in grey plain cloth, bookplate Janus Foundation on pastedown, endpaper and frontespice torn and partly detached, paper fragile causing loosening of some pages, owner signature on title, only a fair copy overall. Scarce and classic work on ophthalmology by one of the most prominent British eye surgeon of that time, a series of lectures delivered at the Royal Ophthalmic Hospital Moorfields in June 1847, including a Paper on the Vitreous Humor and also a Few Cases of Ophthalmic DIsease.
