Included are chapters on religion, Egbo, Jujus, position of women, birth customs, divination, witchcraft, funeral ceremonies, war, government, folk-lore, etc, with detailed appendices on taboos, clubs, anthropometrics, orthography, grammar, vocabularies, botany, zoology, mineralogy, meteorology, geography.
