Introdotto dai saggi di Salvatore Settis e di Silvano Stucchi, il volume documenta puntualmente oltre trenta progetti maggiori di Tomassi dalla metà degli anni Sessanta a oggi, attraverso un repertorio iconografico ricchissimo, a dimostrazione della continua ricerca del progettista toscano lungo gli ardui sentieri dell'architettura contemporanea.
