A picture of this book is available upon request by email. Work p. 23. Henry M. Stanley wrote a good introductory preface. The author spent 9 months in 1888 and 1889 to help save the Emin Pasha and describes his travels in the Lake Albert area in great detail including his imprisonment. The journey lead to several clarifications of geography including the sources of the Nile.
