Daudet (1837-1921), a prolific novelist and historian (and the elder brother of Alphonse Daudet), had written these stories during the 19th century, but they had never been printed in a book. ONE OF ONLY SIX COPIES PRINTED ON FINE DUTCH HANDMADE LAID PAPER, WITH WIDE MARGINS (these are the only large-paper copies).
