This is a very good softcover copy with light wear to the top of the spine, and a short crease to the front cover lower right corner. Completely clean. Binding firm. Text in Portuguese and French. This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Museu de Arte Contemporanea de Universidade Sao Paulo, from November 18 to December 18. 1971. Vicente do Rego Monteiro (1899- 1970), from Recife, was a Brazilian painter, sculptor, and poet, born to a rich family. He was part of the Semana de Arte Moderna exhibition and helped form Brazilian Modernism. Illustrated in color and black & white. Essay by Walter Zanini.
