This is a fine softcover set of all six volumes documenting the career of England's most famous watercolorist: J.M.W. Turner. The Tate Gallery mounted a number of small exhibitions devoted to Turners watercolors. Volume 1: Young Turner: Early work to 1800. Volume 2: The Second Decade. Volume 3: The Third Decade. Watercolours 1810 - 1820. Volume 4: The Fourth Decade: Watercolours 1820 - 1830: Volume 5: The Fifth Decade: Watercolors 1830- 1840. Volume 6: Turner the Final Years Watercolours 1840- 1851. Authors are Anne Lyles, Robert Upstone, Diane Perkins, and Ian Warrell. All volumes completely clean. Illustrated in color and black & white. 11" high X 8" wide, 45, 39, 48, 72, 86, and 67 pages. Volume 1 issued in 1989, volume six in 1993. All volumes were prepared to accompany exhibitions in the Clore Gallery at the Tate. Sold as a set only. Heavy set, foreign shipping will be extra.
