8vo [20 x 14 cm]; 2 volumes, viii, 341; vi, 347, 16 [ publisher's ads] pp, frontis in each volume, including a colored seaside lithographed view of Mozambique and engraved portrait, engraved vignette on each title page, folding map (tear at stub). original blind-stamped cloth, gilt spine title lettering, edges a little rubbed, small erasure on spine, endpaper signature, unobtrusive and light library blind-stamps, clean very good set. A picture of this book is available upon request by email. Mendelssohn I, 961: 'Some account of the Cape Colony and of St Lucia, Zululand, Delagoa Bay, and the Portuguese settlements on the East Coast of Africa, together with a description of Mozambique and some details respecting the slave traffic.
