Illustrated with a folding manuscript leaf in fine facsimile. 8vo, very handsomely bound at the time in full polished speckled calf, the spines gilt tooled with wide gilt tooled bands separating the compartments, two compartments lettered in gilt green labels, others with central gilt ornamental device, edges of the boards diced in gilt, fine period marbled endleaves xii, [2], 300, folding manuscript leaf; [2], [4], 66, [4], 71; xi, 100; 17; [6], 53; [2], 89, [2] pp. An unusually handsome and well-preserved set, internally clean and in a very handsome period binding. Beautifully preserved, and an excellent example.
