Original edtorial brown cloth binding with gilt lettering on front board and spine, backstrip worn and repaired, frayed at head and tail, inner hinges cracked but holding (one reinforced with tape), private ex-libris label on pastedown and owners inscription on Content page, internally G-to-VG, complete with all its XXI folded plates. Overall a good copy of this rare book. Rare work on the waterworks of London and other cities like Paris, Philadelphia, Bombay etc. This is the original edition, not a modern reprint or reproduction.
