Description

Six volume, very good condition hard covers, from the collection of Susan Reynolds, a medieval historian, academic and tutor at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. Volumes display shelf and handling wear consistent with age; fading, edgewear, bumped corners, tanning and cocked spines. Creasing to spine ends, and discolouration to rough cut pageblocks. Gilt lettering to spine faded and worn but legible. Internally, foxing and tanning to pastedowns, endpapers, and light tanning to page edges. Pages are clean and well bound for age. Gutter break noted at Vol.I at pages 128-129, and Vol.II at pages 240-241. Several volumes have uncut pages. Pencil marks and marginalia remain extant, due to the academic recognition of Susan Reynolds. CN Used
