Giovanni Carlo Maria Clari (Pisa, 27 settembre 1677 – Pisa, 16 maggio 1754) è stato un compositore italiano.
The book is a monograph of the baroque musician, choir master of Pistoia Cathedral in Tuscany. It is an in-depth study of his nine oratorios - their music and their texts. Clari was a contemporary of Handel and a possible influence on the latter's own oratorios.
