Following a good historical introduction by Harris and Villiers, Storm's dispatches covering the period of 1738 to 1772 are given, extracted from the original 21 volumes of 300 pages each, describing life in the colonies, produce, trade, ventures, plantations, conditions, police, squabbles, etc, and provides a thorough overview prior to their becoming a British colony.
