8vo., Second Impression, with a portrait frontispiece, 25 plates on 14, 6 maps in the text and front and rear endpaper maps, some light age-browning to text; black cloth, backstrip lettered in red, a very good, clean copy. Published in the same monthas the first edition. The first account of the escape lines by an insider, himself the first British officer to escape from Colditz.
