With full-page plates depicting illustrations for the original 1926 subscriber's edition. The illustrations are from the drawings and paintings executed by Augustus John, Eric Kennington, W. Roberts, C. Clark and S. Carline. With a folding map in black and red tipped in at the rear of the volume. 8vo, publisher’s original rose polished cloth the upper cover with a pictorial decoration of Lawrence in Bedouin dress and lettering in black, the spine lettered in black and with a pictorial decoration of a desert scene. xvi, 335 pp. including the index. A very well preserved and handsome copy with very little evidence of use, the cloth is fresh and the binding sturdy and strong. The paper lightly mellowed and with occasional light mottling or a few spots of fox but quite less than is typical.
