Description

This is a very good hardcover copy in printed red and light blue patterned, paper-covered boards, a bit dusty, covers toned, with just light wear. No dust jacket as issued. One small circular institutional handstamp on the title-page (Princeton Univ.) and one stamped number to bottom margin of the first page. Half title top corner chipped. Paper title label to front cover. Very clean inside both text and plates. This is one of a series of about six small books on the history of typography, under the general supervision of Stanley Morrison. Illustrated with 50 black & white plates. Text by A.F.Johnson. 10" high X 8" wide, 34 text pages + plates. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.
