A Amsterdam, Jean Frédéric Bernard, 1753. A compilation of facts pertaining to French history and legal matters, by the great historian de Mézeray (1610-1683), author of the important "Histoire de France" (1643-51). The original manuscript of the present work bears the title "Dictionnaire de la France", which the editor takes to signify that a larger opus was planned.
