This is a good only softcover copy with some wear. Generally clean, but last third of the text block affected by moisture. All the illustrations are at the front of the book, the critical material: text, notes, bibliography, etc. at the rear. Text in English and Italian. Ettore Roesler Franz, (1845 - 1907) was an Italian painter and watercolorist. His most famous works are the series of acquarelles he produced in Rome between 1876 and 1895, they are referred to as 'Roma sparita'. They are all in the collection of the Museo di Roma in Trastevere, where the exhibition was held in 2007. This monograph is the most comprehensive work on this artist to date. Illustrated throughout in color. 11" high X 10" wide, 286 pages. Scarce, sold as is. Large heavy book, foreign shipping will be extra.
