Illustrated Junior Library edition. Handsomely illustrated by Lynd Ward with ten fine colourplates in watercolour style and with numerous woodcut illustrations throughout the text. Tall 8vo, in the publisher's original decorated cloth featuring an all-over full colour illustration by Ward wrapping around both covers and the spine, the spine features a red label simulating morocco, gilt lettered and decorated, in the original clear acetate dustjacket with lettering in white and black. 340, [1] pp. A very fine copy, essentially as pristine. The clear wrapper also in very fine condition with no flaking to the painted lettering.
