Text completely in RUSSIAN, but two page English summary at the end. Completely clean inside and out. Art historian, Viktor Berezkin, surveys the history of Anton Chekhov productions in Russia. The set designs, costumes, producers, directors and actors. Starting with the first production of the Seagull in 1898 at the Moscow Art Theatre, all the way through Soviet productions of the 1960's and 70's.
