Description

This is a fine hardcover copy in a fine dust jacket with no wear at all. Signed in ink, by the artist, Kay WalkingStick, on the half title-page, just below her printed name. Not inscribed to anyone, just signed and dated 2015. This monograph was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. from November 2015 to September 2016. This book will probably become the major reference for Kay WalkingStick. Edited by two specialists in this area, Kathleen Ash-Milby and Davis W. Penney. With essays by both editors, and Kate Morris, Robert Houle, Margaret Archuleta, Miles R. Miller, Lisa Roberts Seppi, Jessica L. Horton, Lucy Lippard, and Judith Ostrowitz. Statements by Kay WalkingStick. Biographical timeline. Exhibition history. Bibliography. Exhibition checklist. 154 illustrations, almost all color plates. 11" high X 10" wide, 207 pages. A fine signed copy. Scarce signed. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
