Aufl.) - Einb�e leicht berieben, Buchblock teilw. vom R�cken gel�st, aber zusammenh�end, sonst sauber und gut. - Abu Dscha'far Muhammad ibn Dscharir at-Tabari (839 - 923) war ein persischer islamischer Historiker und Gelehrter in Bagdad. Sein Korankommentar Dschami al-bayan 'an ta'wil ay al-Qur'an (Zusammenfassung der Erl�erungen zur Interpretation der Koranverse) entstand ungef� zwischen 896 und 903. Vom Werk waren bis zu Beginn des 20. Jh. nur einige Fragmente bekannt; die Entdeckung des vollst�igen Exemplars in der Privatbibliothek des Gouverneurs von Ha'il war f�r die koranwissenschaftlichen Forschungen von entscheidender Bedeutung. Die im Jahre 1903 in Kairo erstmals erschienene Ausgabe wurde mehrfach nachgedruckt. From the work until the beginning of the 20th Century, only a few fragments were known; The discovery of the complete copy in the private library of the Governor of Ha'il was of crucial importance to the research of the Koran.
