Vom Werk waren bis zu Beginn des 20. Jh. nur einige Fragmente bekannt; die Entdeckung des vollst�igen Exemplars in der Privatbibliothek des Gouverneurs von Ha'il war f�r die koranwissenschaftlichen Forschungen von entscheidender Bedeutung.
