Charles Francis George Richard Schwerdt (1862-1939) ha assemblato una delle più importanti collezioni di libri, manoscritti, stampe e disegni relativi alla caccia e alla falconeria. Fu venduta dopo la sua morte in una serie di aste da Sotheby's, dal 22 maggio 1939 all'11 marzo 1946. La bibliografia comprende le descrizioni di oltre 2700 opere con collazioni, commenti e elenchi completi di tutte le tavole.
