Description

This is a fine hardcover copy in a very good dust jacket. Jacket spine sunned. The book is completely clean inside and out. This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Sotheby's New York on April 22, 1995. Sale code: 6691 "MECOM". The Mecom Collection is extraordinary in that Mecom was one of the first to avidly collect art deco and art nouveau furnishings as they began to make their comeback in the early 1970's. He bought his first Tiffany lamp, and subsequently many others from the famous New York dealer, Lillian Nassau in 1974. Introduction to the sale by Wendell Garrett. 75 lots in the sale all illustrated in color. No prices realized sheet, just price estimates for each lot. 11" high X 8" wide. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.
