Book is in excellent condition. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior has the lower portion of the page ends very lightly splattered with what looks like watercolor paint from the artist who previously owned this volume; otherwise clean. For many years the scientific and educational community has wondered and worried about the possibility that semi-sane scholar pretenders would find the means to put out a series of reference books aimed at children but filled with ludicrous misinformation. Giraffes! is a 9" x 12" hardcover reference book, with 64 lavishly-illustrated pages, and includes a set of giraffe trading cards carefully attached to the inside back cover. Cover is blue faux-leather, de-bossed with gold foil detail and a special 4-color illustration.
