Description
"This is the only printed work by the Spaniard F. Sarzosa, who was a famous mathematician and astronomer and whose calculations were used by Tycho Brahe. Admirable product of French bookmaking during the Renaissance. In France, from 1526 onward, the mathematician and cosmographer Oronce Fine wrote several treatises on Equatoria that made use of similar principles; at about the same time in Aragon Francisco Sarzosa did the same; and there were several other instances of similarly sophisticated techniques that were in later centuries to be given the name of "nomography".
