Description
Architecture from the viewpoint of color, in other words, as a designing approach that is sensitive to the values of the building matter; all of this is well condensed in the subtitle of this first monograph devoted to Francesco Tomassi, an architect who works mostly in Tuscany, particulary between Livorno and Pisa. After the Introductory essays by Salvatore Settis and Silvano Stucchi, this book accurately runs through more than thirty of Tomassi's greatest projects spanning from the mid-sixties to the present day, by menas of a comprehensive set o illustrations Which bear witness to this Tuscan designer's ongoing quest along the arduous paths of contemporary architecture.
