Description

This is a very good hardcover copy in green colored cloth printed in black. A little fading to the cloth covers and spine. No marks to the covers and very clean inside but a few brief marks in the margins made by Rogo next to certain passages. No dust jacket. Signed and previously owned by Elsa Rogo, an American artist and photographer, educated at Wellesley, who taught art history in Mexico. Rogo married Stefan Hirsch in the 1930's and lived and worked with him in Taos and later Vermont. Hirsch taught at Bennington and Bard Colleges. Their papers are at the American Archives of Art. Illustrated throughout in black & white with photographs, drawings, and engravings. 10" high X 7 1/2" wide, 323 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
