Description

First edition, published in England as ?With Flashlight and Rifle?, and being the same sheets as that First British printing but with a modified title-page and bound as one volume. Illustrated with 302 ?untouched? black and white photographs by the author, some of which being very early examples of nighttime wildlife photography. 8vo, in the publisher?s original green ribbed cloth, the spine lettered in gilt, t.e.g. xxx, 782 pp. A very good and handsome copy, the green cloth still dark with bright gilt, internally very fresh and clean, a bit of minor edge rubbing to the extremities and general light evidence of use, just lightly shaken.
