This is a fine softcover copy with no wear at all. Completely clean. Text in French. This catalog was prepared to accompany the traveling exhibition which originated at the Musee d'Art Moderne in Ceret from June 12 to October 12, 2008. Catalog essays by Krisztina Passuth and eight other scholars. The exhibition featured the works of Hungarian painters working in the Fauve style. Painters included: Vilmos Perlott Csaba, Robert Bereny, Geza and Tibor Bornemisza, Istvan Csok, Derzso Czigany, Bela Czobel, Valeria Denes, Sandor Galimberti, Vilmos Huszar, Bela Ivanyi Grunwald, Karoly Kernstok, Nana Kukovetz, Odon Marffy, Andras Mikola, Jozsef Nemes Lamperth, Dezso Orban, Jozsef Pechan, Tibor Polya, Bertalan Por, Jozsef Rippl-Ronai, Armand Schonberger, Lajos Tihanyi, Janos Vaszary, and Sandor Ziffer. Illustrated throughout in color with 281 reproductions of paintings and drawings, mostly in color, also some vintage black & white photographs of the artists. Bibliography.
