Scarce early work on the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestine by the French physician Charles-Michel Billard (b. 1800 – d. 1832). Full title: De la Membrane Muqueuse Gastro-Intestinale dans l'état sain et dans l'état inflammatoire (On the gastrointestinal mucous membrane in healthy and inflammatory conditions). Prima (unica?) edizione, in francese. Rilegatura posteriore in tutta tela marrone con scritte al dorso, cerniera posteriore aperta (riparabile), piccolo timbro biblioteca sbiadito al frontespizio, assenza di altri timbri all'interno, sporadiche fioriture e tracce di polvere ai tagli, nel complesso internamente buono. Non comune opera sulla membrana gastro-intestinale, primo libro scritto dal dottor Charles-Michel Billard.
