Signed 'I V Vitaliev' to title page. No other marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with unmarked black cloth boards, tanning to page edges and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with minor traces of storage. Jacket now protected in fully-removable transparent sleeve. 210pp. An autobiographical account from Soviet satirist and investigative journalist Vitali Vitaliev, born in the Ukraine, went to live in Moscow, became a national hero for his investigations of criminals but who was forced to flee into Poland in 1990 just before this account was published. Scarce signed copy.
