This is a fine softcover copy of this 2 volume set comprising the full collections of crafts and modern design at the Tokyo National Museum. Completely clean inside and out. Spines not creased, bindings firm and tight. This set updates the previously released catalogue of the collection published in 1988. The collection is particularly strong in Meiji Period (1868-1912) crafts and design objects. No text, just a brief introduction and brief entries for each object. Introduction and entries in English and Japanese. Artist/ designer index. About 1650 works in the Crafts Catalogue. 565 works in the Design Catalogue. All works illustrated in black & white with small photographs. 11" high X 8" wide, 335, 138 pages. These books will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
