Description

This is a fine hardcover copy with a fine dust jacket, not price-clipped, with no wear at all. Completely clean inside and out, no marks or names. Over one thousand illustrations including 250 in color. One of the things Anthony du Boulay did with this book was to establish price ranges for many of the different types of Chinese ceramics, based on a lifetime of professional involvement in the trade, both at Christies, Geneva and after that as an independant art consultant. This was back in the early 1980's before the internet. Still a remarkable acheivement and it remains a valuable book to consult. Bibliography. Price list: this refers to almost all of the pieces illustrated in the book, all referred to by page number, and date of sale, and result in Pounds Sterling or US dollars. 11" high X 9" wide, 319 pages. A beautiful copy. Large heavy book, foreign shipping will be extra. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
