Carlo Lasinio (Treviso 1759 - Pisa 1838) is one of the most significant figures in late 18th and early 19th century European graphics. He produced a vast heterogeneous range of prints on historical, folkloristic and humoristic topics as well as caricatures, portraits and reproductions of works of art thus preserving for us various aspects of Florentine life. He experimented with new engraving techniques obtaining excellent results, completed entire volumes with his own engravings and collaborated on the collection of ?I Proverbi? 315 gr. xxviii-106 p.
