8vo [24 x 16 cm]; xxiv, 479, [i, ad] pp, frontis, plus 8 plates, some hand-colored, including maps, several of the plates and maps are folding, engraved title page vignette, tables, index. modern half red morocco & boards, raised bands, spine lettered in gilt, top edge gilted, other edges uncut, light foxing but a very good solid crisp copy, attractive binding. A picture of this book is available upon request by email. The frontis is "A Bird's Eye View or a Map of the Country from Lake Erie to Queenston", showing Niagara Falls at one side.
