Description

This is an about very good softcover copy with light wear. The black wrappers are sun faded. A small scraped area on the top of the front cover, probably a sticker removal. No other marks. Completely clean inside. This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Philadelphia College of Art following Brodovitch's death in 1971. George Bunker, Director of the College, tracked Brodovitch down in the south of France during his last few years and engaged him in this last project. Statements of appreciation by Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Bob Cato, Art Kane, Bruce Davidson, Ted Croner, Hiro, Louise Dahl-Wolfe, Brassai, Arnold Newman, Eugene Berman, Marvin Israel, Diana Vreeland, and Frances McFadden. Illustrated throughout in black & white. Bibliography. List of works in the exhibition. 14" high X 10" wide, 48 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and sent with tracking.
