Description

"These poems are written about England in war-time by an American serving in the Army of the United States, and stationed in this country. Occasionally reminiscent of Housman, they are lyric in mood and written with a deep affection for England, her hstory and her countryside." Within the constraints of wartime production, all in VG internal order. Stamped 'Supplied For The Public Service' to half title, suggesting some level of government distribution. Small neat ownership stamp to fep and small label residue. Brown patterned cloth a little worn to edges. Fair unclipped d/j neatly repaired internally, but creased to rear and with some loss to spine. Scarce with d/j however in any order. Poems are good and merit rediscovery. 12mo. 40pp
