Description

The good anti-establishment reverend's remarkable autobiography detailing his struggles among the poor of Somers Town, successes at journalism and the creation of choir school for underprivileged boys. His signed bookplate is tipped on to fep (as it seems is common to all signed copies.) All in VG, clean and bright internal order. Smart plum cloth with bright gilt titling to spine, a little bumped to corners. G- unclipped d/j, worn to edges and rather rubbed. This is a charity sale for Friends Of Morston Church (reg.1099831). 8vo.xii, 243pp
